Americans are simply not being told enough of the behind the scenes operations which have brought this to occur. The 'uprising' simply does not fully explain nor provide the full foundation on this sudden push by America, the UK and Israel to get rid of Gadhafi. Moreover the Libyan uprising is largely a cover for what appears to be a very large and unforgiveable falling out with many overt puzzle pieces missing. Perhaps in the months ahead, more behind the scenes events will be revealed which expose how this current impasse came to be.

The demonizing of the Gadhafi rulership and family had gone on for nearly 25 years when behind the scenes Dick Cheney began his 100 days behind closed doors in the White House with Big Oil CEO's including BP's Tony Hayward and nearly overnight the UK and America's lawmakers worked to thaw out the long frozen relationship with Gadhafi.

Gadhafi had by that time paid the Pan Am victims family considerable court ordered settlements, sent a Libyan security intelligence official to a UK prison term as a scapegoat for the UK court finding in the Pan Am bombing and had abandoned his nuclear program which was connected to the Pakistan Khan network. The very centrafuges which Gadhafi had acquired thru his Pakistan Khan nuclear network were given to the Israeli Mossad and NSA who appears to have designed one of the Stuxnet Virus payloads specifically to attack those very same centrafuges which was tested in Israel's nuclear facility's then apparently implanted inside Iran's nuclear facilitys.

BP was successful in obtaining large Libyan Oil leases and securing huge exploration rights off the Libyan shoreline for future development.

On the surface all looked very promising for the new relationship between the West and Libya. Under the surface however, just as racism and bigotry take a very long time to die off, there certainly appears to be a very real series of covert events which destroyed this sudden promising progress, dragging up crass seizures of enormous amounts of national funds and demonizing Gadhafi in a similar manner as seen some 30 years ago.

Presently:

As previously pointed out, Gadhafi still has considerable funds and resources as well as foresight to enlist and bring in mercenarys who have worked for Gaddafi and his family for many years, equipt them and take back the Oil and Gas ports and pipeline pumping areas whereby they would starve out those cities and areas protests by shutting down the natural gas pipelines feeding them (heat and electrical power would immediately be cut). This would effectively be the end of America's, UK and Israel's overt operations in Libya as they would be entirely shown the door.

Threatening Gadhafi with the ICC (International Courts), economic sanctions and such really is largely empty rhetoric when the rebels are using stolen main battle tanks and armed with heavy machine guns which no nation on earth would allow to roam unchallenged. Moreover, this approach is going to greatly focus the world's attention on Israels soldiers operating in their routine heavy handed actions on the Palestinian and Gazan civilians. While I applaud such a focus on Israeli atrocitys, it certainly appears that threatening Gadhafi with the International Court's is going to backfire on Israel and America.
