Chuck talked to both state Treasurer Richard Mourdock (R) and Rep. Joe Donnelly (D) just hours after they officially secured the nominations to face off for Indiana's U.S. Senate seat November. Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock breaks down his defeat of six-term Sen. Dick Lugar, R-Ind.

I watched Chuck Todd being owned this morning by the lying republican governor of Iowa. I couldn't believe that Chuck let that guy lie about jobs created in Illinois compared to Wisconsin. WI ranks number 47th on jobs creation, while Illinois ranks number 3rd. He lies about the positive effect of the stimulus in his state, when in fact he even used it to balance his budget.
He criticizes President Obama for fundraising in Hollywood with movie stars, while he approves Mitt Rmoney's fundraising from Wall Street bankers, Hedge-fund executives, the oil industry and the Koch brothers, exactly those people who put the country in the deep hole we are slowly trying to get out of. President Obama will handily win Iowa.
Chuck you should do your homework, be more assertive on your show and not let some of your clownish guests come there, drop lies and get away with it. I'm wondering if you've ever watched your colleague Ed Schultz's show. If you did, you would have known, for example, that Wisconsin is one of the worst state on jobs creation and that Illinois is doing way better.
