It's been a main talking point for awhile now, and Rep. Todd Akin's recent remarks have only increased the conversation. Many are wondering, how will women voters effect the GOP and their race to the White House?
To kick off our Republican National Convention coverage we had Gov. Mary Fallin (R-OK) join us to talk just that, women and the 2012 election.
Check it out below.
Gov. Mary Fallin, R-Okla., talks about Republicans courting the female vote for the 2012 election.

At this point, it wouldn't matter if I were homeless, penniless, and living in the streets due to the economy. I will not vote for a party that is trying to take away the reproductive rights of women and what they can or cannot do with their own bodies; a party that is trying to take us back to the days of Civil Rights of 1960s by suppressing the voting rights of lower income (mostly black) individuals by passing voter ID laws; a party that is looking to privatize Medicare by creating a voucher system which will cost senior citizens thousands of dollars each year that they simply cannot afford; a party that will put our country at war with any other country that doesn't bow down to us or do what our leaders want them to do; a party that is willing to increase taxes on the middle class and the poor so that the rich can keep theirs and continue to get richer; a party that does not know the meaning of the word "FREEDOM" when it comes to the LGBT community and their desire to be "married" to their partners; a party that does not wish to put more money into education so that our country's children will have a more difficult graduating from high school and/or going to college to get that 4 year degree or higher; and the list goes on and on. Barack Obama for 2012.
Right on! OBAMA 2012 Wake up people
Please tell Senator Blunt that my husband grocery shops even when I am not sick: It's called reality!
Romney is a hypocrite of the highest order. As a Mormon he is supposed to tithe 10% of his income and I wonder if the Mormon Church has his tax returns to verify that he is tithing his fair share.
The reason that the Mormon's tithe is to help fellow members in need as well as to fund the Church's economic needs. If that is not a socialist concept what is it? On CNN's feature on Mr. Romney, last week, Mr. Romney stated that he was a Christian and that Jesus was the son of God. Well, Mr. Romney had better read the Book of Mormon again and decide exactly what faith he is.
47% of the Mormon membership had better reevaluate just who this Romney person is and if his values are in line with the teachings of his faith.
The fact is that if Mr. Romney were a true Mormon he would understand that Jesus would, in all probability, be offended by his disrespect for the poor and his lack of compassion for those in need.
Smug, elitist, arrogant, egotist, dispassionate, and a fabricator of his own being. In other words a non-caring LIAR.
Mr. Romney should do the Republican Party a favor and step down now!
If Romney were "for the people" he would stand down for the good of the Nation and let his EGO shrink.
